Kauffman Park

Overview

Kauffman Park is a large recreation area centrally located within Lakewood. The park offers many amenities and hosts several events throughout the year.

Jimmie Foxx Field resides at Kauffman Park and serves as a playing field for many of Lakewood’s baseball and softball leagues teams.

The pavilion/picnic shelter can be used for parties or events on a first-come-first-served basis. Please share the space and do not occupy the pavilion for extended periods of time so that all community members can enjoy the park.

History

In 2023, the city completed a multi-year renovation effort that included a restored tennis court, a new volleyball/badminton court, new playground equipment, walking path, and baseball field restoration.

Hours

Kauffman Park is open daily from 6 AM to 10 PM.

Restrooms are open approximately 8 AM to 10 PM each day between May 1 and October 31.
