The Public Works Department is dedicated to maintaining the City of Lakewood’s roads, sidewalks, water and sewer infrastructure, parks, and tree canopy, public vehicles (Police, Fire, Human Services, and Public Works) as well as the collection of refuse and mixed recyclables.
The Department is divided into seven division: Engineering, Streets and Forestry, Refuse and Recycling, Water and Wastewater Collection, Wastewater Treatment, Parks and Public Property, and Fleet.
