Do you have any current job openings?

All current job openings for external applicants are posted on our City Career Center.

Additionally, we have copies of postings for internal and external positions on the bulletin board in the City Hall mailroom and in designated areas at each City building

The City no longer accepts unsolicited applications. Individuals interested in employment with the City of Lakewood, should visit our career center to learn about current career opportunities.

The majority of our positions are full-time, but we occasionally have part-time or temporary, seasonal positions available.

1095-C Requirements

This notice applies to current and previous employees of the City of Lakewood.

In accordance with the Paper Reduction Act, effective January 1, 2026, the City of Lakewood will furnish Form 1095-C to employees upon request only.  To request your 1095-C for the 2025 benefit year, please contact human resources one of the following ways:

  • Via email at HR@lakewoodoh.gov;
  • Via mail: City of Lakewood, ATTN: Human Resources, 12650 Detroit Avenue, Lakewood, OH 44107; or
  • Via phone: (216) 529-6612.

Once your request is received, we are required to provide you the 1095-C within 30 days or by January 31st of the following year, whichever is later.
