Lakewood Park Gazebo

Overview

The Lakewood Park Gazebo is a small, open-air shelter in the northeast corner of Lakewood Park. It is located near the pedestrian walkway ramp that leads down to the waterfront. The gazebo is a picturesque location for small wedding ceremonies and other small gatherings.

The non-refundable rental fee is $25.00 per two (2) hour block. Your cleanup and setup need to be included in that time period.

Rental Availability

Reservations can be made for the period between May 1 and October 31. Reservation hours are from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

No reservations are accepted between July 1 and July 7, or on observed holidays.

Gazebo Rules

• The Gazebo is accessible by walking path only. No cars are permitted on the grass or the walking paths. Cars must remain in the parking lot.
• The Gazebo cannot be rented to sell goods or services.
• The user shall be responsible for the setup, cleanup and return of the equipment and facilities to the condition and arrangement prior to their use.
• Setup and cleanup need to be included in the reserved time period.
• No decorations may be attached with tacks, nails, tape or any other method that would cause damage to the structure. Anything tied to the structure must be completely removed prior to expiration of the permit time. No confetti, glitter, rice, birdseed etc. is permitted.
• If you encounter any problems, contact the on-duty groundskeeper.
• If unable to contact a groundskeeper, call the non-emergency police number: (216) 521-6773.
• Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited.
• Dogs are NOT permitted in the gazebo.
• Park staff is not available for setup or cleanup.
• Chairs are not available for rental.

Cancellation Policy

• To cancel a reservation, please email pavilions@lakewoodoh.gov or call (216) 529-6800.
• To receive a full refund of all fees and deposits, a reservation must be cancelled no later than two weeks before the scheduled event date.
• If cancelled within two weeks of the scheduled event, only the security deposit will be refunded.
• Refunds are issued by check within 30 days of your rental date and are mailed to the address provided on the reservation.
