Landlords are required to have a housing license for any dwelling unit that is rented to another person. Housing licenses help the Housing and Building Department to ensure that landlords are up-to-date on all requirements for owning and operating a rental property.
If you have questions about the housing license application process, call the Housing and Building Department at (216) 529-6270 or email housing.building@lakewoodoh.gov.
