Overview

With a population of approximately 50,000 residents in an area of 5.5 square miles (2020 Census Data), Lakewood is a dense, busy city with ever-evolving transportation needs. The City’s Planning Department and Engineering Division, and Streets and Forestry Division work to plan, maintain, and update roads, sidewalks, and bike facilities to ensure safety for all travelers.
