Homestead Exemption

Qualifications

You may qualify for reduced water and sewer rates under the Homestead Exemption if you are:

  • Are the homeowner;
  • At least 65 years of age OR are totally disabled;
  • Live in the home;
  • Have an adjusted gross income of not more than $40,000 annually.

How to Apply For The Homestead Exemption

Use the following link to download the Homestead Exemption Application Form. Please note that you must renew annually. In 2025, the deadline to renew has been extended to June 30, 2025.
