This week, the second Joint PC/ABR review meeting was held on 6 August at 6pm in the City Hall Auditorium. Casto presented an updated plan in response to the recommendations provided by Board & Commission members as well as members of the Public at the 23 July meeting. Among the substantive updates were improvements to the:
- Streetscape and pathway elements along all sides of the development;
- Curtis Block to renovate/retain both first floor retail spaces and second floor apartments;
- Vehicular entry/exit points from the parking garage;
- Pedestrian flow between the parking garage and residential buildings; and
- Design of the green/open space in front of the southern apartment building.

The next meeting will be a community/public open house on the project slated for Wednesday, 21 August at 7pm (Cove Community Center).
PC/ABR review will continue in early September at their normally scheduled meetings.
